Happy Campers
Ross River Resort is a great base for accessing some of the local attractions, such as N'Dhala Gorge, the Arltunga Historical Reserve-ruins and Ruby Gap via 4WD and Trephina Gorge Nature Park which is easily reached via a 2WD.The Homestead is 85km east of Alice Springs following the Ross Highway. Some nice little stop-over’s along the way include, Emily and Jesse Gap and Corroboree Rock.We stayed here almost ten years ago and it hasn't changed that much, thank goodness. The rustic style of accommodation may not be for everyone, but you are in the Outback, so enjoy the experienced. There is a nice pool and a caravan and camping area if you do not wish to stay in the cabins.Staff are friendly, polite and the home style cooked meals here are great.
