Walk through the homestead and be pleasantly surprised as to what the inside of the building holds.  Its contents are deceptive from the outside!  There is a bar and dining room inside so you can get a cool refreshing ale, through to tea or coffee and light snacks and meals.  

Summer is a cool relief from the outside heat and winter is cosy with the fireplace blazing.

Staying at Ross River whether you are a camper or staying in the cabins, we can assist you with all, or some of your meals.

Breakfast, depending on the number of guests in-house is done as a buffet or a la carte.  If you need to be gone early in the morning, talk to us and we are sure to be able to accommodate you.

Lunch is served as a chalkboard menu in the dining room.  Lunch is from 12 to 2 pm daily and no bookings are required.

Dinner is what we call "Homestead style" so let us know by 3 pm in the afternoon if you would like to join us for dinner and we all sit down together in the dining room.  We have a set, 2 course menu and we cater for most dietary requirements. It is a great way to meet others and share stories.  Days of opening for dinner may vary during the different seasons. Ross River Resort is a licensed premises so no BYO is permitted in the homestead area.  Take away beverages are available to bona fide, registered guests only, and only available after 12.00am.
